Once your order is placed, your note will be created & attached to the lei allocated for the student the lei is purchased for. The families can pick up the lei for their graduates by the picnic tables in front of the gym when arriving to graduation evening.  You can write a personal note to the graduate upon checkout. If you are purchasing lei for another student it will go in that students pile with a note from you, unless you communicate otherwise.
